After a four month break I finally repaired my painting. It was smudged during transportation from art class in May. I had big summer plans for my painting projects. Did nothing. Not even doodle. So on the weekend marking the end of summer I finally cleaned and organized my art supplies. Inspiring me to finalize this one. Often getting over one minor hurdle releases the energy and inspiration to move on and take on new challenges.

Now I am in art class again, back out of my comfort zone. It felt intimidating to get started painting again. Especially since I took such a long break and was disappointed with myself for letting summer go by without painting anything.

Time to let go of that disappointment and move one. Creating art is such a transformative activity. Often I have my most innovative thoughts related to coaching and change, as I paint. What tickles your creative thinking?
